Great experience with this company, I used them for replacing a plug hole, re-siliconing a kitchen sink, resiliconing around a bath/shower, repairing a bath panel and painting doors/door frames. Fair price and they were happy to do small jobs. They also gave good advice, rather than quoting for the most expensive job. Reliable and turned up when they said they would. They also cleared up after themselves. Genuinely care about doing a good job. I would recommend them, especially if you’ve been putting off lots of small jobs in you home.

We had an excellent experience hiring Pete (and his father) for doing some jobs around a new house, and we are in the process of probably hiring him for some more.

Overall, he was professional, helpful, and friendly. We had a long list of issues to look into and he helped us navigate it. He was quite candid about what jobs we could do ourselves, and even explained how and what supplies were needed, and where best to get them. He also gave advice on shoddy work done by another contractor, and that helped us a lot in getting them to fix the problem.

The jobs themselves (adding beam support and insulation to the attic's floor, sanding and finishing a staircase, installing a banister, replacing a toilet flushing system, installing a shower curtain rail, replacing shower taps, fixing a wall with a missing brick and some damage) were done to a very good standard.

His quotes were very good value, especially in the context of advising against unnecessary work or overpaying for materials. He was responsive and communicative throughout so we were kept in the loop about how long the work would take.

He went above and beyond with a couple of the jobs, using leftover materials to complete additional repairs and/or taking additional time to make sure the job was done right, still per the original quote

We made a move back from abroad to an old, run-down cottage this summer. It needed carpets/flooring removing and all the rooms decorating within a short time frame. Pete and his workers were extremely reliable, friendly and accommodating; there was nothing that was too much trouble for them. Any additional job that occurred was completed without fuss. They even installed the washing machine and fridge freezer (which required removing the door surround) to help out when we weren't at the property!
